What is the Transparency Code?
This transparency code sets out what information smaller authorities should be publishing.
This code is issued to meet the government’s desire to place more power into citizens’ hands to increase democratic accountability.
It applies to the parish councils with an annual turnover not exceeding £25,000.
The Transparency Code was made mandatory from 1 April 2015 and requires the online publication of key spending and governance information on the occasions specified in the Code.

Package options
Apart from the initial setting up of your parish council website, we also offer an updating service.
This includes such things as minutes, agendas, news items, etc.
The cost of this service is £200 per year and is optional.
Some Parish Councils choose to do all updates in-house. However, if you decide to take advantage of this option, the full cost will be payable from the initial invoice (ie £500 + £200 = £700).
Note: The renewal of the hosting package is usually invoiced and confirmed a month before it expires, at a cost of £100 per year.
